Olive transformed an existing 1970’s brick house in the heart of New Farm into a spacious Mediterranean inspired home that incorporates elements of transitional design. The project includes a substantial reconfiguration of the existing spaces whilst adding a substantial extension and an expansive outdoor entertaining area.

The design concept for Olive was inspired by the warm coastal environment of the Mediterranean, combined with clean lines, a creative use of space and simple forms. The introduction of a natural material palette creates a warm and inviting atmosphere amplified by the incorporation of abundant glazing capturing all the natural light and ventilation the site has to offer.

This project will provide the owners with an indoor-outdoor living experience that is perfect for family living and entertaining, becoming a timeless and much-loved family home.
