Magnolia | Geebung, Brisbane

Magnolia reimagines an elevated 1960’s split level house into a calm and composed family home. Through the careful application of a subdued yet textural palette, Magnolia is a perfect example of exercising restraint whilst still delivering a functional and empathetic design. The use of materiality and detailing, the home was brought into the present with a quality of enduring elegance.

The existing portion of the original home being split over multiple levels allowed for open plan living whilst creating privacy and zoning. A seamless transition is created between the existing home and the newly built extension through the continuation of materials. Practical and cohesive in its design, Magnolia will stand the test of time for generations.
